TELECABLES S.A. was founded in 1991 as a joint venture between HELLENIC CABLES
S.A. and SIEMENS A.G. Since 2000, TELECABLES S.A. is a fully owned
subsidiary of HELLENIC CABLES S.A.
TELECABLES S.A. manufactures copper communication cables as well as
fibre optic cables for telecommunication and other purposes.
The company's manufacturing plant in Oinofyta started production in
1991 and is equipped with state of the art production and ancillary
equipment. The current production range includes underground duct,
overhead and indoor, high performance communication cables utilized
in modern telecommunications networks.
The fibre optic product range includes a wide range of fibres per
cable for indoor and outdoor applications. The copper communication
cables include cellular polyethylene insulation, unfilled or jelly
filled, armoured or unarmoured, up to 3.200 pairs. UTP, FTP and SFTP
data cables, all UL certified are also part of the copper cables product
range.
TELECABLES S.A. products may be manufactured to suit any customer
requirement, according to international and national standards including
IEC, VDE, CEI, NF, EN, BS, REA, ASTM, MAT, TIA/EIA, BRITISH TELECOMM-CW,
DIN, ETSI and ELOT. All products are distributed under the CABLEL
trademark.
The company's cables have an international presence and are extensively
utilised by Telecommunications Authorities and private enterprises
in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
